wevo adjustability
I wonder if I might be able to get the lever closer to me without hitting. Right now it seems too far away side to side and also to far forward but mostly to the right. For instance the reverse is just left of middle. Really seems like it should be more left of where it is. Otherwise it's nice.

I don't know how the Wevo links up - but if the original spline/universal is there you should be able to notch it over 1 more spline toward where you want to go.

I know what you mean, be nice to be able to clock everything over a smidge, 3rd/4th to me seem a tick too far to the right
no complaints fersure tho - the shifting is so otherwise so awesome, so... |

So I clicked it over as Alan said and it got a little closer but still seems too far to the right. I may bend the arm some to the left. Wonder if that's wise.

Pretty sure those are aluminum. It doesn't like to bend much. Given the shape, I think it would crack first.

OK. Well it did help to move it over some. If I still don't like it I can have a friend cut n weld I guess. It's probably fine though.

I agree with the position of the Wevo shifter, 3rd and 4th could be a little closer. I thought about cutting and welding but haven't done it yet. One thing I did do was get one of those round wooden shift knobs from the host, it seems to make a difference over the stock shift knob.

![]() Here's mine. It was a little uncomfortable from wevo for my taste so I beveled and smoothed the holes so they're more comfortable. But I love this knob.

the feel ^that shift knob^ (shift Ronkness SHIFT) is utterly delectable!
freakin deft precision shifts know what yer sayin about the edges Brandon... apparently my ahem perversely WELL CALLOUSED (hairy?) right palm is impervious to such negative sensation? said it before sayin it now will say it again - yer interior is *TITS*! (and nipplez!) |

I need a shaft knob job (for my Wevo). The stock thing is like grabbing on to a prepubescent pencil eraser.
That is a cool looking knob, Brandon. Less air resistance = quicker shifts.

So I did this as much as I could and still afford reverse and as you state 3rd is still aways away. It is better now though.

One thing we are doing with my G50 swap is modifying the shift rod length to shift the neutral position further rearward. That way 1st 3rd and 5th (up positions) aren't so far away.
For me - I feel like the up positions are so far up on the Wevo and the 4spd that I need to move my seat further forward than I would normally prefer. I feel your pain! - Chris.

Apparently Brandon and Chris are VERY particular when it comes (pun intended) to the shafts and knobs that they put their hands on!!! ![]() |

I'd guess part of the problem is a shorter arm. I'm 5'10" I more make up for it in other areas. ![]()
