Subtract 100 kpa to compensate for ambient air pressure.

You know this I'm sure, but the stock overboost sensor/switch simply opens at high boost to interrupt the ground connection to the stock yellow relay and kills the pumps. So, why not use that OB switch to provide the ground needed for your Tec3R. An overboost would interrupt the ground and the Tec3R would stop powering the fuel pumps. Sounds simple, but then I may be missing something.

You'll recall the screaming kids during that conversation.

One time when I was a show off. I've always wondered about this scenario. Taking this guy for a joy ride in my then 3.2 all the right moded motor for the time 20 years ago. Adjustable boost set at 1.2 which I'd hit plenty of times. Top rpm in 3rd on up to 1.4 then into 4th with an amazing surge of power going past 175 easily then boom. Running on 5. Long story short valve hit piston with chunk stuck in exhaust valve. Made it 8 miles back home. At the time I was working way to much and didn't have the time or inclination to do it like many of you guys do. The shop that rebuilt it said there was a crack in the top of the waste gate which caused no telling him much boost instantly giving that ungodly push. Always wondered about that. Ditched the adjustable boost and have stuck with a measly .8 which is still quite adequate with all the other upgrades.

Wellwood Contact Cement.....the best for dedicated sniffers according to persons of authority (ex college roomie from Brooklyn NY in the early 70's). All you need is a paper bag and huff your brain cells away!

Meanwhile Ken, no reason not to have an active overboost system. Cheap, vs. the alternative.

^ agree.

Lucky enough to be able to get away with stupid once. Not testing fate a second time.
