1977 Porsche 930 CDI, Power with key off?

With the key off I'm getting battery voltage between pin 8 & 6 at the connector. Any idea why?

Also, can anyone recommend a good CDI rebuild vendor? Thank you!

Ok, so it must be the condenser providing the voltage. With the key off after 12 hours it was down to 10.8 volts. Turn the key on and 13+ volts. Wanted to make sure all was working properly. That explains the voltage with key off but no high pitch sound from CDI. Maybe it just needs to be rebuilt?

I would suspect trouble in the Delayed Action Relay department. Pull it and see if the voltage at pin 8 goes off with the key off.

Yep, if it is less than batt volts, it must be the external capacitor voltage.
