Hi all looking at changing the oil lines that run down the side on my 930 and as I have mounted a front oil cooler would like to run one continuios length in braided stainless steel... so what size hose is being used and what fittings would I need I have seen all sorts of prices on hose and fittings ,,can anyone recommend a brand..

I ran 22mm cohline hose. Why braided? It's heavier, more expensive, and a pain when putting fittings on. The cohline hose that is used for the soft factory lines has an abrasion resistant covering.

If you have no choice but to do that, the factory hardlines are almost identical to 16AN as far as inside diameter. I have used -16 to make adapter hoses at the thermostatic valve, etc. Having said that, I'd leave the factory lines under the rocker cover, they are damn near bulletproof. Just get adapter hoses for your cooler at the front.
