Smoke on start up - randomly

I did a Pelican and google search and I know its common to have white smoke on start up but mine usually doesn't ever puff smoke on start up, at least not enough to be visible when i look in the rear view mirror. However every once in a while i'll get a very big puff of smoke on start up. Enough to see a big cloud behind the car for 30 seconds or son then its fine. Why would that be?

White smoke = steam
Black smoke = rich mixture
Blue smoke = Burning oil

Since our engines are not water cooled, you are seeing condensation in the exhaust. The amount of condensation will vary with ambient temperature.
My car will sometimes smoke for 10-20 seconds while idling, frequently in the spring or fall.
I wouldn't worry about it.

PullinMyPuddy, had your car eaten a huge bowl of re-fried beans prior to the phantom smoke cloud incidents?!?!
