interior - dumb question
finallly putting my recently re-finished interior in my 78 930. Fabulously done by Classic 9 - well deserved plug. Anyway - the 2 raised circular attachment points at the back of the rear seat "hump" - what attaches to this? I thought the rear panel came over the these and covered them up - but the panel sets behind these.
-screw points for? -locking mount for the rear seats? Sorry no pic - thanks for the help

okay - I think I figured it out by looking at other pelican's interior pics.
there are actually 4 of these - one on each end and two in the middle. These are the attachment points for the carpet that covers the gap when the seats are down. So I have to either cut these off - or re-think my design. I eliminated the all of the carpet except at the floor where the seats are - so 4 pieces total. I used matching leather for all of these surfaces. I installed dynamat, a fabric liner, then a open pore foam for the padded area. Then the leather over this. My back of my rear seats are finihsed in leather and not carpet - so I will get the seats installed then see what I can do with those attachement points. I may just have to pull the leather and cut them off - what a PIA!!!!!! If anyone has any design ideas I would like to hear them thanks, Mark
