need pic of front condensor
can someone take a pic of the front condenser lines. I want to see if one has a 45 connector on it.
if possible, can I get a pic of the LOWER port on the dryer. same thing, want to see if it is a 45. story: this is about the hose that goes from the front cond to the lower port on the dryer. I got a new set of hoses but do not have my old ones. I do have a pic of the old one going to the dryer and it HAS a 45 on it. the new hose has a straight fitting on one end and a 45 on the other. the STRAIGHT end was labeled for the dryer, the 45 was labeled for the cond which according to my pic, the dryer has a 45. when I connect the straight end to the cond along with the other hose, they do not fit properly. I think BOTH ends should have 45 degree connectors on them. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1467286247.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1467286283.jpg |
The drier gets the 90 at the top fitting and a 45 at the bottom going to the condenser. Both front condenser fittings are straight. They are tight but it fits as your photo shows.

thanks.
also got a pic from my brother. his fit better than mine, may try to bend it a little, looks like a 45 would work better on the front cond. |
the condenser lines bent very easily and I was able to make the hose fit better.
now if I can just find the rest of my parts, I don't know what it is, I put parts in bags or boxes and I STILL lose crap!!! I cant find the clamp for the TXV bulb and I don't know where I put the 4 bolts for the compressor. if you pull everything out like I did, hang on to your old dryer. use it for helping put the hoses back in instead of the new one., |
