Meaning.... That his gaps for his kits are better than the factory porsche gaps in the car... On my green RWB. He didn't like the gap on the fuel door??? So he took it off and worked it...... Also. He has 17 RWB race cars in Japan.... If you get a car built from him anywhere in the world.... You are personally invited to race in all 4 of his races.....in 1 of his cars.... That he preps especially for you. A few weeks back. He had 12 of his personal cars raced by. " family members". 1 was wrecked by a family member..... He tells me... "No problem". I fix.... And was not mad at all..... He is a very positive and inspiring person. T

It is a work of art to him and he takes it personally. I am shipping this car to Leno tomorrow. Would love to bring it by and show it to you and let your drive it. Tate
Our doors are always open and if you're in town I welcome you to stop by for a visit. Send me a PM and let's trade contact info. I really do think the car is fantastic and I'd love to see it in person if given the opportunity. Leno's place isn't too far from my shop, and I do a lot of test drives on the roads you see in his videos.

I like everything but the large decal under the rear wing and the lug nuts. How do you change a tire when Madonna is riding in the wheel dish?

Seriously cool build though despite my personal preferences. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the back story on Nakai, very interesting!

What kind of power is the car making, did I miss something or is that yet to be revealed?

Did I understand correctly that Jay Leno is getting the car, presumably for an episode? Thats so cool!

That car is plain nuts in a good way! Who came up with the spiked lug nuts? Sorry you gotta ditch it...it does not follow form and function (well that's my lowly opinion!).

Good to know that you and Nakai are in partnership (I assume only here in USA?). So you must know how to speak Japanese? Last I heard Nakai several years ago did not know English but maybe he picked it up recently?

Thanks for sharing your experience and cars!!

Car looks awesome Tate. Every time I see nakai work it reminds me of highway construction jobsite one guy working and 30 guys watching.

26 hours of testing the new build in Carmel and Big Sur. Pulls very hard. Smooth power. T

Really cool video with everyone hanging out while the car is getting finished up.

I am getting ready to start on my street 935 on a JLP built car with factory bodywork using a bunch of my spare 935 parts and 962 motor. One of the combos I was thinking of was Martini stripes with silver or white base color... but you nailed it with this car so I am going to eliminate those options and narrow down to the others I am considering, you own that one!

Great looking and sounding Porsche, congrats

And I agree , the 3.8 RSR deck lid with the Crawford wing looks killer
