FS: 930 Mode headers

I've decided to list my Mode Headers as I've decided to stay with what I have.

Honestly what I have is not much when compared to the Mode headers. I have GHL headers with heat..not fancy...lol. I was going to have the Mode headers modified with heat plus several other changes needed to be made. Unfortunately my plans changed and I hate seeing these beautiful headers collecting dust. I was very hesitant listing these for sale...as I know later on I will never probably see another new one for sale.

I can definatly understand the urge to hold onto them. In fact I'm having a hard time talking myself out of buyiing them from you. I have B&Bs with heat but man, those are works of art.

Oh it hurts to let them go but it just makes sense at the moment...will probably be banging my head after they are sold...lol

It looks like they have a T4 turbo flange that is bigger than a stock T3 flange so K27 turbos will not bolt on and neither will the usual T3 flange Garret GT35R and TO4Z series Blowzilla turbos.
The turbo flange also looks like it's centered so the large diameter secondary tubes are equal length.
Maybe I'm all wrong... but that's how it looks.

With these headers the rear engine tin will need to be replaced or heavily modified for the new charge pipe location and still be semi engine cooling air flow tight and if using a muffler a short one with a tail pipe will have to be made up.

Agreed, it would take a decent amount of fab work to get them installed. Undeniabley cool once done though. I'll bet they sound amazing as well.

Guard yer pipe(s), Rey! Mr. 70'sbush is feeling tempted!

If I was looking for header$ like that I'd buy a set of Brians headers. They look pretty similar, have heat, and include good customer support.

Mine work pretty damn good.:D Very surprised to see them still here

speednme1 09-07-2016 01:42 PM

These headers look divided to the turbo flange which should allow for a twin scroll turbo if desired. The photos make it look like that the primary tubes are different lengths.

Does it really make any difference?

Yes they would take some work to fit but not impossible. If it weren't for an unrelated change in my personal life, I would have bit the bullet and had them install on my car...but that is a story for a friend...and another day.

These headers were not made by me...so I'm not competing with Brian's headers. They are(I will repeat Mode headers...not Rey headers). I'm sure..unless...someone is a newbie...they are very much aware of Brian's headers....but thanks for the support Jim:rolleyes:
