15" BBS wheels

I'm considering buying some BBS wheels for my 81 930 They're 8" & 11" x 15"
I'm still waiting on the backspace measurents but I'm clear on what I need there.
I know that real RSR 15" Fuchs will clear my brakes but I'm not certain about the BBS
Can anyone confirm that 15" BBS will clear 930 brakes ?

Anyone??? Bueler....
I know Brian was running 15"s on the grey ghost but, they were Fuchs. BTW if you see this Brian, I'm curious, were those weld ups? I'm assuming so given the price of real RSR Fuchs. Reason I ask is I tried to fit a 11"x 15" weld up and it didn't fit. That was over a decade ago and I don't recall if it was an offset issue or brake interference.
Anyhoo... I cross posted in the tech section but I'm hoping someone here has some real world experiance .

i have some e50's bbs on a 84 m491 . you cant remove the front built in spacers like you can on a early 930 in front so you cant run a deep dish look. having said that my fronts are 4inch outer and 5 inner and they clear the 930 with just a few mm's to spare.

on the rears i removed my spacers. with the early e50 centers a 4-5mm spacer is require to clear the calipers outboard. the later e50's are slightly thicker at the hub face and dont need a spacer so ive been told.

im trying to run 11x15 in the rears with zero offset and shim out 5-6mm to clear the brakes. i have any luck in finding 5.5 barrels which is much rarer than the full inch barrels.

they ones in the pics arent 15 inchers..most likely 16's ?

hope this helps a little. there a few guys that would know better than i on the e50s like gumba and rarely8 that had 15 e50's on there cars? perhaps they can chime in hopefully

15" BBS wheels were pretty common back in the day so I would think they would fit over the 930 brakes.
The fronts that I used for 20 years on 3 different widebodies were 15x9 Fuchs. They even did duty as a hose reel for a time. I've retired them now. The 15x11 rears were sold in 1995 (yes I know) because they were too narrow for 345mm tires. I had a set of custom offset 15x12 made by Compomotive. These barely clear the 930 brakes but they do clear.
