Having work done on the engine,
It needed all,line bore,bearings,pistons,etc
Chose not to use a media on the cases as i want to keep the original protection for cases.

As the original wastgate and Turbo was not there anymore.
I bought 2 sets whit the right Turbo's on the web, and had them rebuild in Germany.

Thx Micke
if i get get in the range of your projects i will be happy
Still looking at strange places for parts, and finding them.
Always surprised when i end up at mixed car dealers, that have a treasure of air cooled parts at there ceiling.

I found a set of door handles that are in nice shape,.
Thought of reanodizing my original set but that did not work because of a to high silicium grade.
Sill looking for some nla engine lines, getting close tough.

Working on the aircondition hose also.
The original is a rubber, metal reinforced whit a red woven jacket nla.
On most early Turbo's these are dried out and cracked.
This hose goes trough out the car, including the floor etc.
Most use black hose or cancel the airco completely.
Have these produced in the 2 sizes at this moment, and will have them in 4 weeks.
Including the print etc.

Did that type of hose happen to come on the 78 model?

It's great to see a Turbo 3.0 get this treatment. When I got my car in 2002, no one was interested in them. Even shops that regularly serviced 911s did not know how to take care of a Turbo. Nice work, Dave!
