I had a dual out B&B that I really liked (for sale if you are interested). Deep mellow sound, minimal drone.

I replaced it with a RarlyL8 unit - I have yet to fire up the car but his stuff is quality.

I am with The RarlyL8 crowd. Installed the headers with heat & Street Muffler & could not be happier.

Went from a Monty 100mm dual outlet to a Rarlyl8 hooligan and there was a noticeable power difference. Don't get me wrong, the Monty sounded great and the fit/finish was of a very high quality but the straight through design of the Rarlyl8 muffler really benefits the turbo...

I bought a set of headers from Fabspeed but returned them before installing due to quality control & shipping issues. I will be placing my order with RarlyL8 as soon as I finish my oil sealing project.

I recently ordered two more Rarly8 passenger side exhaust out hooligan with drivers side out for the waste gate. He stopped making these, so I had to sweet talk him into making a few more. Common Brian everyone who sees / hears mine wants these. A noticeable power improvement over the replaced B & B, the old Borla and another exhaust brand I was not familiar with, not to mention a much improved exhaust note thru out the RPM range. Anyone who wants one of my old set ups as they can be had for real cheap. One set up is stainless with passenger side exhaust out and drivers side waste gate out, very nice but not quite as nice power or sound as Rarly 8 setup that is passenger side exhaust out, drivers side waste gate out, as in photo below.

I shelved that model due to the difficulty fitting it from car to car. There is less adjustment available with this design. You wouldn't believe the variance in turbo and bumper placement, much more than expected. I know we talked about that, so did both systems fit on different cars to your satisfaction?

Yes, the one I put on a 77 930 ( TP motor car by Andial ) myself ( old age, sore back ) but worth it. The other one went on my 89 turbo SN convertible,( one of 28 USA delivered ) so some purists may cringe ( who cares ) however it makes an important difference in looks, sound and power over the other passenger side out system that was on the car when I got it so already had the valance opened up on that side. Zero to 60 garage in Sherwood WI did the install and was impressed with the outcome. Said the car pulls like a freight train till he let off @ 150MPH + with 1 bar spring on peg all the way past 4K RPM. Monster cams / porting, K28 934 turbo so not much boost till 3.5K, however don't need boost power before that in 1st 2nd as that just is wheel loosing traction area anyway. . Motor was built by Eurosport Racing about 45K miles ago to over 450 hp on their engine dyno. Now it feels like all that power is present. No fitment problems on either install. Maybe just some relocated turbo alignment on the ones that did not do so well if you had some complaints. I still think it is the best performing and looking system ( I have them now on 3 street 930s ) for a 930, ever, by anyone.

+eleventy billionty on Brian's wares!

I ran his dual-out hooligan, then his Zork

am in process of going to the setup Tony mentions above, but Zork-out to the right - no muffler... or.......

...Just The Tippy?

Brian... ugh... SO sorry for my huge delay. Everything's off on the floor ready to send to you... sometimes life eff's up the best intentions. SOON! (I swear). I'm missing a C&C tomorrow due to it being up in air lol / d'oh.

I'm VERY hopeful I'll be able to nail the fitment... masssssssssssive pet peeve of mine otherwise 8-)

to the OP - if I were on a budget (I certainly am), I'd 100000% take up one of the very generous offers of some of these take-off's mentioned here!

good luck / hope that helps...

(ps. Zorkgasm's ftmfw!)

Based on the advice of this thread I contacted Brian at RarlyL8 and ordered a street exhaust with center exit tips and the accompanying lower valence. I'm pretty psyched and will update this thread with pics and opinions.

Thanks for the input everyone, love this community.

Haha, the funny thing is that I googled RarlyL8 center exit exhaust and this very image came up, which was what I sent to Brian when I ordered my exhaust! I basically asked Brian to make me the exact same thing. Awesome.

Well, if we are posting Hooligan vids...

I ran a remote mic back to the exhaust from the gopro so you get more exhaust and less wind noise.

I hope you have a sub and some loud speakers...

And this vid is from my cell phone, so it isn't quite the same, but fun nonetheless when I go through the tunnel.
