Way too much... I have 4 tubs here, one is a 77 Carrera 3.0 with DP935 rear fenders. I would let them all go for $7800 and they all have clear VIN numbers affixed.

Kraft-

What are you basing your valuation on? Does it come with a title?

Thanks guys for feedback.

No VIN, the only place there is a VIN on the chassis is in front clip that is cut off. Original VIN was salvaged. I have found a few front clips with valid title vins for ~$10K-25K range cars hit in the rear.

This is a factory special wishes chassis with the flatnose rear fenders / quarters. Value based on a bellow average rate if the rear fenders / quarters..

Canada to USA with the transports and VIN?? That might be tricky.. otherwise your price for all 4 chassis sounds unbeatable. Someone could stitch these together and have something.

Typically you get value from rarity when the car is complete and numbers matching. Are you saying your price is less than what you can buy those fenders for from TRE or whoever else, plus the fact that flat noses don't seem to be selling to quickly the days?

Did the factory reinforce the strut towers like that? Just curious.

The sale price is....well the sale price.

It has some rarity with it being a factory special wishes flatnose conversion. There are reproduction fenders out there from various sources but they would not be the original steel production option if one cares.

The only location there is a VIN on the chassis is on the front clip so there are no "numbers matching" that can be applied. Newer cars often have VIN tags on fenders but not these older 911s. So if someone wants to build an authentic 930 flatnose, then best way to go about that is to find a 930 / flatnose front clip. Any 911 front clip could be used however.

Yes I know of several authentic 930 flatnose cars that are over $100K.

now what is funny about $7800??

The rest of the car is sold off to various porschephiles around the globe or parts applied to various projects over the past 10 years.

the rear half of my car is very rare, you can't tell it, but it is, and actually came off a flatnose.

that's only the back half and its all stripped out.
sure, the complete body was or is worth a lot if it was still one piece, but that's just scrap at this point.
you could put that back half on a model of lesser value but it still would not be worth what the original is worth.
