Congrats Rich. Great diagnosing!! You put a lot of work into this. You now need to begin getting permission from the wife for the Vintage GP that Paul Ebonics is setting up in September.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat6.gif

Thanks Alex. Yeah I'd love to make that weekend at the glen, but unfortunately it's a no fly weekend for me. I have a wedding that weekend.

So thanks guys for all the suggestions. It was tremendously helpful. Particularly Brandon's idea of using the laser thermomete to find the dead cylinder.

You won't believe it but I haven't driven it yet. I was out of town last weekend, then I got home and was swapping out the brake light sensors. The ones I had were wrong and required some non-kosher wiring. As I tightened the last one the sensor broke off the threaded section. I wasn't torquing it very hard, but apparently, it was hard enough to break it. So I pulled the master cylinder out of the car and have a new one coming. I got the threaded section of the sensor out of the old master cylinder but was concerned with metal contaminants finding their way into the braking system.

The new master cylinder is due in today, so I'm planning on staying up late tonight to get it installed. If I get that done I'll put some miles on it this weekend. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for checking in.
Rich

Got it out for a nice little drive today. Everything seems to be back to normal and running better than ever. Here's a 16 second clip of the drive.
