So has the civility gotten any better on here

I haven't been on this forum for a long time. I left because it seemed like a hostile environment for many folks not just myself. I got the car running issue sorted out the cause for the most part was a failed fuel pressure regulator it now runs great just needs fine tuning some rough spots out. Have been working on issues around the house instead of the car I kind of lost my passion for it after what all transpired. This is what has occupied my time for the last year or so

No idea what happened in the past that soured you on Pelican, but I've been here for a few years and I don't see that at all. I see a bunch of guys (and girls) that share a passion and come here to ask advice, discuss issues, builds and other stuff. We also like to blow off steam and have a laugh or two.

As long as one doesn't take the internet too seriously, I don't see any anger or hostility.

A nice thing about individual threads here is that if one gets too far into the weeds, you can just stop reading that thread.

Cool house. Love that all that woodwork!

After what happened I seriously doubt I will post as much as I did glad to see you I really haven't looked at this forum since Cole died and that was the last post I made till now. I know you got hammered pretty hard also by other individuals.

a lot of the "hazing" from the guys is just in jest and can be easily taken out of context.... keep doing you brother, the house/cabin looks real nice. The past year my life has taken a lot of odd changes. So I have a different perspective on a lot of things.

keep up on the house and good to see you still driving the car!!!

The addition to the house is almost done and had to keep the car I couldn't unload it on anyone the way it was running. I had to take over construction when the contractor I had abandoned the job and took off with a fair amount of money from me thanks to the bank giving him another check without my consent or verification the work warranted it

^^^ The suburbs are getting rough. I'd move if I had to pack heat on the back patio.
And not the kinda heat Rawknees packs around daily...

Nice piece. Do you carry? We have constitutional carry here so no permit required.

Used to be the "American Express" rule... never leave home without it...

Now with current situations, it's the "underwear rule" If I am wearing undies, theres a gun on me...

Daily carry is a Sig P320 carry, deep carry is a Sig P290RS. NH has Constitutional carry as well, but I still opt for the license to carry. This allows you the ability to carry in school zones if needed and I bid a lot of commercial work in and around school zones.

I'm in a good area, but still get riff raff... better to "have and not need" than to "need and not have"

Nice. Being that I almost went to work for Sig, I have a lot of contacts there and they're a NH based company, so i get 1/2 off. So I lean toward them.

If I went by that rule, then I could never have a gun on me!

PS - I don't carry, but have given in some thought. My po'po' brother thinks its nutz to not carry.

Nice house and work..
Glad the car is running too...

To those who carry regularly do you feel vulnerable when you fly somewhere? Like when you can not bring the gun as you normally do..
