Dial-a-death boost control regulator

So now that I have an original Porsche 934/935 boost control regulator, question comes to mind are there any user serviceable parts inside? Does any one have an exploded view, and is the diaphragm made of rubber or stainless steel? Still trying to figure out who made these things. But this one surely has stories to tell.

The knob has been carefully drilled for safety wire, and the rather crude bracket has been as well.

OK cleaned it up a little and discovered the knurled base is removable. Spring loaded plunger within.

What is the boost range adjustment for the "dial of death"?

Good question. Adjustment can't go lower than the base boost setting of the wastegate spring. I found a lower pressure spring off eBay. I don't have any experience yet how high this regulator will allow for. I hope to be able to adjust back up to stock boost, then turn down to reduced boost if I need to do that.
