My 83 911 vs 2017 ZO6
Went for a little ride with my son 500hp 944 turbo and friends new ZO6. Had to see how my cars runs up against this monster. 1st run, 30-135. Neck and neck. Thought I was inching. 2nd run he hits it first jumps me 1 car and stayed that way to 135. My sons 944 turbo was about 3 cars behind. I was pumped to see I can run with these cars.

Mis-leading title and road racing..tisk tisk tisk. Road racing is bad, you shouldn't road race (Mackie). Now that's out of the way. My friend who owns a 2012 Z06 told me, after driving my 81-930 and 02-996tt, his Vette is a hot mess compared the either of my cars. He requires a 2 second lead time before he hits the gas. He has no idea what the car will do. Truly terrifying or awe inspiring depending on his mood. On public roads it's mostly terrifying. We all agree a 951 with 100bhp more would run circles around the 930 especially around corners. My modded 87-951 did just that on the track.
At add insult to injury his Z06 fails to start regularly every 6months. Now he is eyeing the 997gt3Rs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
