Is this Fuel Line Available?
The hard fuel line from the WUR to the FD snapped at the tip when I installed it. I do not seem to find a part number for it. It broke right at the tip so a mechanical splice is not possible. Any ideas or source for this line?
Thanks Ivan ![]()

Interesting - I just looked in the PET and there is a picture of the metal line but no part number listed.
Another option is to take the entire line and fitting to a hydraulics shop and they can re-flare the metal pipe, just above the point of the break . . . do you think it would still fit/work if the pipe is a little bit shorter (like Paul's ![]() |

I noticed that you have a cast iron fuel head, so I just looked in the Porsche Classic UK catalog and that line is listed . . . it's on page 61 and it's item #37

The car is a 77 so I am not sure it is the same line, and the 77 PET does not show it.
The line has a small noozzle at the tip with a small opening. If I flare it would this have an effect on the WUR performance? Also I am not sure it will fit propertly, the noozzle tip helps close the connection. Thanks Ivan

Looks like you have the wrong line there
Here is a picture (not mine) from Dwekz posts ![]() The correct line used is 930 110 305 00 It uses banjo bolts to secure 911 110 899 00 and of course 4 sealing rings 900 123 050 20

Ivan,
Steve is correct. That line you have looks like something someone made up. If the correct hose with banjo fittings is not available anymore, contact Len Cummins, a.k.a. "BoxsterGT" who makes replacement hoses for our fuel systems. He only answers e-mail: Len@autosportsengineering.com

Wow, good to know! I had no idea! Time to start looking for it. I tried to contact Len some time ago and I was not successful. Let me give him another try.
By any chance do you have more pictures of that engine. Now I need to check more stuff I took as original for granted to make sure. Thanks

I was able to source the parts needed to make an OEM style hose with Belmetric, in addition to bolts, nuts and regular hoses they also have all types of cloth covered hoses and the hard to find Polyamide (plastic) with Rubber insulation.
I ordered: 1 meter -Rubbed Insulated Polyamide 2x10mm (just like OEM) 2 -Banjo Eye Fitting Polyamide & Rubber 2 -BNJB8X1.0 BANJO BOLT 6- Solid copper gasket (GSC8X14X1.5) Thanks for the clarification Ivan
