Though I've wondered how one could put NASCAR bars in one of these. Side impact is my greatest fear, and I'm a rollover accident survivor.
I hear you. It needs more thought.

I couldn't agree with you more. I will flog mine and have some fun, but it's a dangerous beast and needs to be respected.

I saw Alex post on FB and had to log in to see if I knew Ed. RIP and God speed.

Very sad to hear of this tragic news. When reading Ed's posts, it wasn't hard to feel his enthusiasm in his new ride. Thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends on their loss. Best wishes go out to the passenger for a speedy recovery.

It's always hard to hear this news. Whether you knew him or not, we're all part of the same community and all face the same vulnerability.

Be careful out there.......

You might not be able to get insurance if you do this. Both Hagerty and Grundy will not insure a road-going car with a full cage for the reason Matt cited.

Just back from vacation and seeing this for the first time. Terrible news. I know I'll be a little more careful next time I buckle into my 930.

Oh no...that's awful. I'm sorry to hear that this happened unexpectedly. I looked forward to hear more of Ed's experience with his newly acquired 930. That's one of the worst thing to happen to any of us. RIP Mr. Reich.

No one likes to hear that stuff. Thinking of you too Jim, must be a blow on several levels.
I wonder if I am better off just blasting my beast on the track (never had it on the hway). I push my SC on the road at times more than I should. Never any issues, but I sometimes wonder, exiting a hard fast corner, what would happen if a torsion bar broke. The answer would be Bad. Beyond that is a guess. Not sure I would have enough self discipline to drive a 930 on the highway. Most of the time yes. It is the other times that would bother me. Have wondered about one for the road, but I think I will stick with the SC.
Horrible to loose someone like that.
Keep safe guys.
Alan
