Got around to opening up my 000

This my second issue still havenít opened my first lol.

Let me say that this magazine is beyond description good.

It is more of book than magazine. The rich color pictures are more like something from a high end Sothebyís antiquities catalog than a automotive book.

The book even smells good. Itís almost like when you walk into a brand new house.. Yeah The freshly painted / new carpet smell..

Anyhow this is by far the most thorough magazine/ automotive journalism Iíve came across. The attention to details and facts are on par with THE PORSCHE BOOK.. Thatís some serious reading by even the most informed porschephiles standards.

These magazines are well worth the $250 subscription.

By the way Iím looking to purchase OOO 1,2 if any of you donít keep your old magazines.

Yes phenomenal. Itís not really a magazine. Itís more like a porsche reference book that comes out 4 times a year.

This must be the best automotive publication the world over. Amazing!

They are like little tiny versions of Excellence was Expected. Pete Stout and crew have hit a home run.

Many thanks, everyone—especially from folks with high standards. One of these days, I will buy one of Matt's diffs for my old shed...

And thank you, Eric! We were honored by Pelican's request to carry 000. For those who want back issues, we're down to >200 of some back issues in soft cover. We did a small reprint of 001 because we guessed badly on that qty, but I'm not sure we'll do reprints in the future. As I learned at the last two magazines I worked at, back issues can be a storage and fulfillment boondoggle.

More fun stuff coming for Issue 005, and if any of you have ideas for stories or departments that feel like 000 content, don't be shy—this is meant to be OUR art book.

Best,

C'mon now. At least open them and put them somewhere where they can be seen...

Best,

Porscheís ill fated attempts in both CART and the formula 1 footworks program with its V12 Porsche designed engine.

Not even with the late Michele Alboreto as a driver could the program make it off the ground.

This to my knowledge has never been covered more than a few pages. It is completely fascinating to me as it is one of porsches true failures. It was also a impressively bad one!
