930 Intake on a Turbo SC?

I have a '79 SC (3.0) that I am going to turbo & change to EFI. It's hard finding a complete 3.2 Carrera intake for the swap. Has anyone put a 930 intake on a turbo'd SC? Compatibility issues? Thoughts or opinions?

3.2 intake flow so much better and be nearly port matched to your 79SC heads.

It will also be cheaper option by the time you buy 930 pancake manifold, EFI injector blocks, fuel rails, new intake studs, etc.

You could also get the Tbitz kit and modify the stock intake to run boost. I did that, it works quite well. You'll just need to upgrade to MS2 if you'd also like to go distributorless.

+1 on the T-bitz option. It will include the rails and everything you need (minus the injectors). If you can find a stripped 3.2 manifold with the throttle body, get it. it's all you'll need.

- Off topic, but just wanted to thank you for answering some of my questions during my conversion. I would definitely suggest going distributorless as your next upgrade.

Thanks for the responses guys! I’ll be on the lookout for a 3.2 intake so if you know of one in need of a home hit me up. Hill3312, thanks for posting your turbo build. It’s been informative and fun to watch. Looking forward to seeing the dyno numbers!

If you do not plan on porting your heads and wish to use tapered intake adapters for fitting the 3.2L on SC or Turbo heads:

https://parts.turbokraft.com/products/carrera-intake-manifold-adapter-set

Very easy to port match these adapters to your SC heads with a Dremel and sanding drum.
