MS was getting tired as being touted as a subpar brand, so they developed MS3Pro. They incorporated a robust case and connectors, and created a ton of I/O's for the most complicated of installs.

Another claim to fame, is whatever it offers to do (features), you get it right away and can use immediately. No paying extra like some other brands like Haltech and MoTeC.

All this while trying to be competitively priced, of course. Staying true to MS roots.

Denso COP fitment

I measured the contact point of the coil with the spark plug end, and the spring in the coil barely touches the plug. Has any one else measured this... I drilled/notched the casing of the COP for deeper access. I think this is easier than to cut the rib on the valve cover. What are you guys doing, or does the spark jump from the coil to the plug? I cut the rib on the valve cover. I only needed to do this on #5. But I also removed the mounting boss on all the coils. This kept them clear....especially the oil line at #1.
Keep in mind that I'm still working on it. Not yet running.

yes, that's also #5 I show in my pics. I think I'll cut the mounting tabs also... looks much cleaner. ;-)

I cut the mounting boss on Coil number 1 top side. I am twin plug. I also used the RSR clips to hold the coils in place.

The green oil return tube o rings fit nice for a tight seal without making the coil sit proud of the valve cover

engine compartment layout

So I decided to mount my devices on the vertical wall of the control panel in the engine compartment... built the injector and coil harnesses today. Waiting for 80lb Seimans Deka injectors to arrive. Also, check your voltage in the ms3pro against the actual voltage at the injector. On mine it was about 1 volt off before I calibrated, which threw things off before I realized it wasnt accurate.
