Updating a K27 7200

So I was doing some digging on modifying my K27-7200. Seems some of you guys are retro fitting a billet compressor section for nice power gains, I'd like to keep my turbo as a bolt on but freshen it up and make some hp gains. So the shop I spoke to, Evergreen turbo, they had this to say "We are using a special high flow 9 blade turbine in 7200's that with the billet compressor the turbo reports coming back in are they hit boost around 2600 and full on by 3200! With more power everywhere."

Anyone had this special high flow 9 blade turbine installed? Is this a totally new thing?

Charlie with Evergreen does a good job. Hybrid turbos have been around for a while and they do perform, but only last as long as the quality of the build. You get what you pay for.

No, Charlie with Evergreen does an EXCELLENT job.
I've known Charlie for 20+ years now, he's still the man for BW/KKK turbos, better than Durabilt was IMO.
That high flow turbine blade setup is very good, very linear throttle response with excellent flow in the upper revs. Yes, they are new, but the manufacturer is not. The billet comp wheels have been around for years.

Go with his recommendation and enjoy the results.
