915 and 930 tunnel shift rod the same?
Looking at 4spd in my 74 911, wondering of the shift rod in tunnel is same?

I'm basing this directly off of PET and no actual experience with the conversion. What I see is that the early turbo carreras with short bell housing do use the same shift rod as 915. PN 911.424.020.00
The later long 930s use 930.424.241.00. Just a guess here but I suspect this rod is shorter to accomodate the gearbox being pushed farther forward in the car. Assuming you shorten the 930 to make it fit, my inclination is that you will not need to change the rod. Hopefully someone who has done it will comment.

As Matt says....
I shortened one to fit a long 930 only to have to again lengthen it when the long 930 didn't fit 1.1"
