Air intake for 1977 930

I do not know if I'm looking for a something impossible, but I would like to backdate my 1977 3.0 Turbo that has been equiped with an intercooler.

The air inlet comes in different eg. this copied from this page.



Is this part remade or only in the used market? Any idea on price level?

These aren’t made anymore (as far as I’ve seen). There was one on here not too long ago, and if I recall correctly it wasn’t priced too high. The 77 is different from the 75/76, it has an extra bung on front for the overboost/boost gauge. I’ve seen them priced all over the place though, obviously they went sky high with the market.

I think I have a 76 one I’m not really willing to part with, but if you can’t find one let’s chat.

Thank you, though I think that I was in luck and that the piece is in shipmenent already....

Although that the part is for the 75/76, then I think that I can get around it by placing the sensor in the pipe.

Let Porsche know that you are looking for one, too. They put classic parts back into production for short runs. I needed the bushing for the rear wiper, and a year later it was available again.
