Can sporto engine case handle maual gearbox

Hi,

Is there any conversion needed if I want to use a 901 gearbox on a 73 (7R small spigots) sporto engine case....?

Searched the forum but could not find an answer.

Cases are all the same. The injection has a vacuum system that needs plugging.
