Who has built a long rod 3.0?

I was reading through the 2.8ss thread and digesting the idea of rod ratio. I have read that you can offset bore 3.0 rods and increase the length a little bit. I also read that GT3 rods would fit on the cranks as well with 130mm rods or 138mm rods.

With the 138mm rods you would have a 1.9 ratio on a 70.4 crank. Obviously things would get wider and you would have to deal with a whole bunch of stuff to make it work. Curious if anyone has tried this, or even if they went with the 130mm rods?
