Prelube case thru bolt threads with DC111 or oil or?

Hi,

Quick easy question. Assembling my case halves on 1989 911 3.2 soon. Very little mention in any of the threads regarding lubing threads prior to torquing thru bolts and perimeter stud nuts. Since I'll have the Dow Corning 111 out and using for green viton o-rings anyway, can I also use small amount on threads as lubricant prior to torqueing down? May stay on better / longer than engine oil when doing work station prep work.

Thanks

Torquing with lube on the threads is always preferred to dry threads.
My important thought is keeping the washers from turning against the O ring seals
