Stupid P204 Tool Question

It's pretty obvious how this tool works when tensioning the left side while setting timing, but I can't see what the intention is on the right?

I searched but can't find instructions anywhere, and at a glance can't figure out how I might get it to work.

I've read that it works on both sides but can only find a picture of it on the left side......

I've also read that it only works on the left side but that makes little sense as it's not sold as a "Left" tool alongside the "Right" tool. But I've been wrong when trying to apply common sense to such things before......

Thanks in advance (or is that retard?)!!!

Don't feel too stupid. I bought that tool and couldn't figure out how to use it so I cobbled something together. I feel like I've let the whole team down.

I even checked your thread, Chris, because I knew you had your long block together LOL.

There's no "I" in team
