Cylinder gaskets?

So, my 1970 911t 2.2 is awaiting new pistons a refurbed cylinders, all good.

Do they have a gasket of any kind between the cylinder and the case? I am pretty sure I remember taking off some very thin copper gaskets?

Also, shouldn't there be a gasket between the cylinder and the head? I definitely did not remove any but I am wondering if they were embedded in the cylinders?

Trying to find part numbers for both for my car as all I can find is 72 on?

There is a copper gasket between cylinder and case. There is also a gasket between cylinder and heads. However, there is no gasket between heads and cam towers. That uses Loctite 574 instead.

All the gaskets are included in the case gasket set.

Awesome thanks! One more question. I am having my cylinders bored to 85mm from 84mm and JE pistons fitted. Does the top gasket between cylinder and head need to be machined as well so it is also 85mm in diameter?

No, it fits around the outer lip of the cylinder wall. Take a look at the top of the piston and you will see the "ring" at the top and know what I'm talking about.
