mix mach of cylinders 95zn1w2 - w3 are there interchangeable
hello in the middle of a teardown on a 76 turbo that has been sitting for 17 years i don't know the history on the motor but everything looks to be in great shape all well within specks. The pistons and cylinders look to be fairly new it has the turbo flat top pistons and a mix matched set of 3.0 l Mahle cylinders 95zn1w2 and 95zn1w3 is this a problem? im assuming these are interchangeable as i plan on reusing them they look to be barely broken in still showing the original cross hatching on the cylinders . i was planning on a light hone and a new set of rings

Those numbers are casting numbers, not important
The concern for the builder is the stamped numbers The should be a delta 5 or delta 6 for cylinder height There should be a stamping near the delta of hole side and also stamped on the piston face Of 0,1,or 2 With a turbo, 3.3 and 3.0 I have forgotten, there is a squiggle pointing to flywheel to compensate for offset and minimum valve recess.
