2.4 Engine to ST Speces
Hello guys,
I need your knowledge to budget my 2.4 engine to ST specs. The car is a 1972 911T with a ST body, the engine is a stock engine but I will like to converted to an ST spec. Plesase let me know a ball park for this kind of engine build. Thank you. |
I am going to say $15-20K if you do it yourself. I am selling a MFI 2,4 I built with S pistons and E cams. I totaled up the parts and machine work and had $11K+ in cost and am sure I did not total up everything. My case was in pretty good shape and did not need to be narrowed and re-bored (more cost) That price doesn't include any cost for assembly, cleaning making stuff look nice etc. If you keep the MFI You will also need to have additional MFI work done, probably another $4K. Pricing estimates below.
