Recommended replacement flywheel?
I am rebuilding my 1979 SC engine and converting it to a 3.2ss.
This will be a street driven weekend car. My machinist just finished hot tanking my flywheel and not only is there noticeable scoring, but on the back side of the flywheel there is a solid blue band showing that the flywheel got extremely hot. I've decided to replace the flywheel, but with so many different brands, I'm not sure what to choose. "OEM", Sebro, VTX or perhaps a lightweight flywheel? I intend on using the aluminum pressure plate. Any thoughts? |

This is a company in NE Ohio that has a long SCCA racing history (look up Gran Turismo Jaguar) They make some great stuff but I understand it isnt cheap!

What's the use? DD keep it stock.
My 914 with a 3.0 performance street I trimmed about a 1/4" off the OD, but it requires a balance.

Won't be daily driven, just a fun summer car.
