Dual MSD 6AL-2 with single map sensor

The engine is a high compression, 3.4, S-cams, 50mm PMO's, twin plugged. So, as the title indicates, I am considering dual 6AL-2's, to run with a JB Racing twin plug distributor. I'll be replacing the old Electromotive HPV-1's that are currently on the motor. I prefer CDI over inductive.

The real question regards the possibility of interfacing a SINGLE map sensor (probably MSD sensor) parallel into the DUAL 6AL-2's. I don't see why it cant work, unless the input impedance of the map input on the 6AL-2's is ridiculously low. Has anyone done this?

I've never seen any mention on this forum of using the 6AL-2's with map sensing for a vacuum advance feature. I believe it would desirable, improving idle and part throttle, cruise drivability and efficiency. For instance, adding max 10 degrees or so, inverse linearly, over the load curve.....the lower the load, the more the vacuum advance.

Thoughts?
