p/c availability

Whats the deal with 69 2.0s p/c availablity? I'm aware that we're talking about a one year only(US) car, but it also seems pretty popular. Everywhere that I have looked they are n/a (including pelican of course) Do I have to get them custom made, or is there an equal sub? I even see 906 p/c's in ebs ads but not the humble S. I'm thinking my stock S is living on borrowed time and I for one, am under-talented enough to love the small displacement/high output screamer. Comments

I think the reason 2.0 P/C are hard to find is that most people upgrade to 2.2. It very easy upgrade, and there is no real cost penalty if you are replacing the P/C anyway. The part number for 2.2 911S P/C are 911 103 918 01. (pelican # C-103-918-01)

Can't go to 2.2 and remain "stock".

Worried about the judges at Pebble Beach? If you're running in a 2L class, then you are stuck. If you are worried about hurting the value of the car, I doubt it will have a negative impact. I have a set on my '69, and it made it a better car.

One of my engines is very close to S-specs. It started out as a 2.0L E-spec engine. It now has 2.2L S-spec P/C, S-heads, E-cams and Webbers. A real fun combination. My 2.7 is going to be very close to RS specs, with a couple of enhancements.

I'd love to get a real 911S coupe , but they are hard to find here.

mine needs rust repair but I'll post the progress. lowered, stiffened, solid bushings, track seats, and i still love it on the street, part of my interest in remaining stock eligible.
