Tired of crispy wires

I got so tired of messing with crispy, nasty old engine harnesses that we decided to make our own. Now we can offer them to all of you.

Stupid question: how difficult is it to replace the engine wiring harness with the engine in the car? I'm going to drop mine but it'll be a while.

Replacing the engine harness in the car is doable but it's a huge pain. The later the car the more challenging the job.

There is a lot more to your ‘82 harness with CIS. See one I built recently for someone below.

Thanks. I’ll hold off until I have the engine out.

Great looking part. If we need an SC harness I'll definitely look at buying one of these.

Thanks Henry,
I’ll trade you 4 of them for one of your sweet looking 3.1 cylinder kits. :)

I see a sweet MFI harness from Henry and a sweet CIS harness from Timmy. Do either of you make a harness for a 3.0 CIS going to PMO carbs?

This custom harness is perfect for carburetor application.
I choose to use a double sender of pressure and idiot light that mounts on top of the engine to get a more accurate pressure reading. It also cleans up the wiring near the alternator housing.
The temp wire runs under the fan rather than over the top. We can add the ignition/distributor wires but I prefer a stand alone harness for that. It allows for more ignition options.
If you still have an external regulator we can add those wires as well.

All the time.
I use FR Wrap. This picture is of one without the CDI wiring.
Lots of different harnesses I’ve built posted over 32 pages here:

3.0 carb or EFI with ignition....

Just made one this weekend actually, in the mail tomorrow.
The harness on the right is for a 3.0 carb engine with MSD with an adapter and extra wiring to make it plug and play with the MSD. The others in the photo are for brakes, fuel pump and front lighting harnesses for a stripped down hotrod.
