shift coupler problem

I am starting to remove my engine, but i am having trouble disconnecting the shift coupler inside the car. I have the allen screw out and tried changing gear but it seems to be stuck.
Any ideas or tips that may help me would be much apreciated

Loosen the transverse clamping bolt on the front of the coupler. Jim

And before you do, mark the installed setting with a Sharpie.
