Paint recommendation for engine area on a 930 / turbo heat shied?

I've looked at many engine paint threads and I'd like to go with a light gray to keep any potential oil issues visible.

I'm planning to paint the engine tin, shroud and mount brace. I'm planning to leave everything else as is (unpainted).

I'd prefer something in a rattle can, although I do have a small Graco sprayer if needed.

I'm concerned about the engine tin area over by the turbo getting too hot, but all the high temp paints I look at need to cure, and I'm worried 'colder' areas won't cure and will scratch.

I'm also tossing around the idea of fabbing up a turbo heat shield similar to TurboKrafts.

I have a 3DLZ and it looks pretty straightforward.

The engine contains solvents such as engine oil and fuel which can dissolve/discolor most rattle can paints. Powder coated parts usually have better resistance to these chemicals as well as the elements.

Good idea with the turbo housing. I've seen hefty preformed aluminum/sandwich products, but that stainless housing looks pretty good and permanent. Consider coating the turbo housing with ceramic. Helps keep heat inside the turbo for increased exhaust flow as well decrease surface temps. for less heat load on surrounding vehicle/engine pieces.
