Talk to me about R's
Hello Folks, some of you are most likely gettign tired of hearing from me by now ( I have a '68 912 and can't seem to decide what to do with it ) but I have bcaked away from the "Conversion Perversion" thing and am looking into a nice lightweight street car. I understand that there will be some limitations with the SWB and the Slab side fenders.. But and R replica of sorts seems like a reasonable alternative. The information I can find is Spotty at best. I have seen little mentions of them and gather they made use of "plastic" parts ( fibreglass ) I also have searched and seen ONE bare body on jack stands that apeared to be a fairly normal steel shell ( apart from the Round oil filler hole in the fender )
Is there a good source of info that someone knows about that you can point me too ? Thanks Dan ( isolated in Alaska )

ACKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry guys wrong forum. Can one of the mods help me out and move this where ever you figure it needs to go ? I was hoping for the 911 forum but if you want to stash me with the 912's that would be ok too.
Sorry Dan
