Piston Rings 3.0 911SC engine Need help!
 

Which rings are you guys using now for Kolbenschmidt (KS) pistons for 1983 911 SC 3.0 Engine rebuilds?

Porsche shows a part number with my VIN: 930-103-985-00 (discontinued) as the correct part but all i'm finding is 930.103.986.00. which appears to be an updated part number?

I'm trying to stick with the Porsche factory parts for the important parts for longevity and want to make sure i'm not making a mistake. The only thing i've really been able to find is that the goetz aren't great.

Any help would be hugely appreciated!!
