Mezger X 9A1 engine interchangeable parts
 

Hello guys.

I was wondering if there is any parts that is interchangeable between both engines.

I have two 9A1 engine laying around here one is a GT-3 and other is a 3.4 that I have no use for it.

I am more the old school Mezger fan. But the internals of the GT-3 looks so sweet. With the titanium rods. Maybe I could use those 9A1 parts somewhere else on the mezger engines

The GT3 is a 964 base case so the internals should be compatible In the air cooled case.
Just the thought..

The 9A1 is the newer version of the GT-3 engine you mentioned. Street GT-3 engine is the same as 964 and 993 until 2009 if I am not wrong. The racing version is until 2012, I think.

9A1 came after that
