Crankcase oil vapor vent hose leak stop

I'm looking to prevent oil from seeping oil vapor recovery hose where it joins the vent cover on the case. Is there a sealant that will prevent that junction from weeping oil over time?

Just tighten the clamp on the formed rubber hose.

Buy a new hose if the old are old and hard.

JB Racing sells a crank case breather cover with a male AN-16 fitting. You could build a breather hose with a female AN-16 fitting. There would be no leaks. I use one of these covers on my race engine and it works great.

And if you don't want to see a steel braided hose back there, there are alternative hoses that will look factory. And AN fittings are available in black so that it all looks stock.

I need to locate replacement part for the two plastic (metal on 3.6, I think) pins which fit into the two small holes in the spigot on my 1987 911 crankcase breather cover. See the pin in the upper lefthand corner of the photo. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Buy a new cover.....I don't think anyone makes replacement parts for those pins.

Buy a used cover, should be some out there.

Don't know how they prevent Oil fumes from getting out.

It's also not too hard to measure and make new pins if needed.

I think the pins are to help keep the hose from coming off. If both pins are missing you could use one long pin to go through both holes and peen the ends like a distributor shaft gear.

Whittle two from a piece of medium density polyethylene would work. And I have a small band clamp to do the job better than the original design. Appreciate the suggestions.
