69 911S Thin Clutch Disc

Does anyone know if this is the correct thin clutch disc for the aluminum 69S pressure plate? It supersedes the original number of 901-116-117-01

Thanks to Mike for the NOS clutch disc. I'm still curious if the part number listed at the top is the correct part. The dealer also lists the correct part number for the pressure plated, 901-116-009-00 and it's only $119. That can't be right. Anyone brave enough to try and order the parts?

Interesting it's that cheap. The original 2.0L alloy pressure plates are NLA. My guess is that the superseded parts are the steel / cast iron pressure plate and standard thickness disk.

So if the ‘69 911S pressure plate was aluminum, what car used the copper faced PP?

The 911S models had pressure plates with an aluminum "foot" (the supporting structure for the friction surface). I believe that some of the early aluminum pressure plates had a copper overlay as a wear surface, while others had a ferrous overlay. Not sure which years had which though.

The 1968 911S PP had a copper surface layer as did the matching flywheel, but other wise the friction disc and other parts had standard dimensions. I believe all 1969 911S PP had an iron surface layer.
