air injector plug size

Can someone give me the specs on the size plugs that go in the air injector holes on my 3.0 heads?

Thanks

The plugs are M10x1. Link to thread on air injection plugs.

So, do you think these plugs at www.mcmaster.com would work?

part number 92015A155

the best ones are aftermarket 914 rear caliper plugs. hex head, and a flange. pelican should have them.

No, those are the wrong pitch (1.5). The plugs need to be 1.0 pitch.

Thanks Guys!

S caliper bleed valves are the same size. I had to order the tap to straighten out my front brakes from mcmaster.

Chris,
Hey neighbor! Where is your "local metric hardware place"?
Enquiring minds want to know! :-)

I don't think that's true - I think that the bleed valves are the same size as the plugs in the earlier heads - the 2.7s? Althought I can't recall off the top of my head, and I don't have any cross-ref on this...

I know my 993 calipers and 930 caliper bleeders and Carrera brake lines are all 10x1.0 if that helps.

I do know that 10x1 is the correct size for the bleeders. I don't know the correct size of the injection plugs though.

I've plugged the ports in a 2.7 motor and an '81 SC motor with 10x1.0 plugs.
