a leak down test would be helpful to substantiate its condition

otto, this engine is missing cam and rockers on one side....no chance of leak-done.
Inka2002tii is not giving up simple information and photo that mean something.

Should be able to do a leak down without cams or rockers. As long as the valves are seating and the crank turns.
I have a "rebuildable" 2.2 core from a T that I foolishly bought a decade ago. I was going to use it as a coffee table but now I want to find a roller 914. I still have a side shift transaxle so it seems to be destiny. I did a leak down on my core a year ago, but only on the right bank. 2 and 6 were almost zero an 4 was perfect, like 94%. kinda strange but...I really should get my 76 on the road before starting a new project. |
