Mag Case Machining
Hey all,
I'm in the process of preparing to rebuild my 2.7 into a spicier variant. Probably something RS-ish (suggestions welcome) for street and rallye use. I need to have the case machined and worked on but Ollie's is 4-6 months out and I'm having trouble finding people who can do the same scope of service... Who are we using for the mag case works: shuffle-pin mains, case-savers (all 24), oil bypass mod, time-sert oil pressure relief, deck true, squirter check/replace, oil gallery clean & tap plugs...

Cheers Julian,
Check out Craig Garret, G2A performance, great machinist, great prices, very responsive. He did all my head work oil cooler cleaning. |

I would contact Henry @ Supertec. They do all their own machine work and have decades of experience building air-cooled 911 Porsche engines.
They were rebuilding 2.7 911 engines when they were new. Best kept secret in the air-cooled world. Porsche shops send them engines to build. supertec1@earthlink.net
