WTB SC cams

I have a pair of SC cams that need resurfacing. Called WEb Cam and she said 3 weeks wait once they get there. Don't have that type of time.
Anyone have a pair of cams on the shelf ready to go? Cams have one minor pit on each cam. I have cores and cash. Please email direct to : rcabell911@gmail.com

I have a set of early 911SC cams (nut style), fresh ground with the 964 profile.
Thoughts?

This is for a stock 1980 CIS car, what are your thoughts?

Not a big fan of the 964 profile (I feel it's lazy) but plenty of people swear by this upgrade.
Some swear it makes better low end torque. If you're running the 8.5:1 pistons, 964 might be too aggressive.

Just talked to customer, he wants stock cams......

I have a pair of cams out of an 80SC. See below for photos I have. Slight pitting on one. Folks here can opine on how malignant it is. If you need a pump, got one of those too

I’ll throw in the economist in case your client wants to relive 2020

Rick Cabell 02-02-2021 01:07 PM

Thanks, but all set on the pump. On a fresh rebuild there can be NO pitting. You have what I have now.

Right answer! Sorry I couldn’t help

I have a set of SC cams that were reground. They were supposed to be 964 grind, but wound up much closer to stock. I have pictures and the Camdoctor report if interested.

Never been ran, only measured on camdoctor. Will ship direct from Washington state for cheap.
