RSR 3000 cc chain tensioner

I would like to know what the original chain tensioner looked like on the RSR engine.
Any body got a photo or a description on these items .
What would be recommended to use .

Any help here would be appreciated.

RSR tensioner

Nothing special about the tensioner. The cam nut was smaller & lighter. The spur gears on the intermediate shaft, chain idlers & cam gears were a lightweight alloy.Ciao Fred

As Fred has stated, Factory competition engines ran production tensioners and are listed in the parts manuals. The "Mechanical" tensioners are privateer installed.
