I'm only aware of one set of clearances as called for in the spec book
What are these others you mention?

clearance

I just sent you an intermediate shaft aluminum gear and perfect rod bearings. What you do is what I do.Measure your crank for rod journals.Install the new bearings in the rods and torque with old rod bolts.Use a bore gauge and check the size.Figure out the difference. You can make up the difference by machining the big end of the rod to get the correct clearance.Just need a good machinist. If you use ARP BOLTS it is different as the ARP Bolts are torqued at a higher rate of 50 lbs.which changes the big end dimension for clearance. If you are confused send me a message.Ciao Fred

best clearance

If it was a high reving or high compression engine maybe a little looser. For a street car just follow factory specs.Their engineers will always be way smarter than I am.The specs are there for a reason as a guideline.Ciao Fred

Done
Crank back from a Polish.
I have.
.0025
.0022
.0024
.0021
.0022
.0024 thou.
I have 001" over size bearings to achieve this
Worthy of mention. STD Glyco bearings were absolutely spot on. 001" bigger clearance. I have no idea where they were made but the quality in clearance was perfect.

the spec

The Pauter rods will wake the the engine up.Your spec is good. Those rods make it feel like a lightened flywheel has been added. Also at 130mm rod length you are at a desired rate of almost 2 to 1 rod stroke ratio. All my short stroke 2.8 built on 3.0 turbo or 3.0 carrera have 132mm rod length. It softens the angle when then the piston skirt hits the cylinder and decreases wear and improves mid range torque.Look at BMW engines as there rod length is longer then the stroke.Hence more mid range torque.

Curious if they removed the plugs from your crank to clean the oil passages after polishing. I do not normally have the plugs removed.
