"Wrong" is not the right word. "Different" is a better word and what William does "different" is where the magic is. I don't suspect that William is going to give away his intellectual property here.

Classic 911..... First of all I NEVER said anyone was doing anything wrong. I do not do drama. Claus 3.0 with 120/104 was done at TWS on a mustang dynojet and made 271 hp. at the wheels. back to the subject. A decent pump gas motors should make 100 hp per liter. I usually get 120 hp per liter or more on my race engines. We also should not look at the past as a future guide of what is possible. Winders 3.6 motor makes considerably more power factory 3.8 RSR engine. I have done quite a few CIS 3.0 motors with 9.8:1 pistons and an M1 camshaft that make 230's at the wheels. Obviously there is more in those mid 230 hp than just cams but cams alone usually gets 220's at the wheels. The 3.0 RSR motor actually made about 360 hp when it was reworked with different cams. Also Winders thank you for the support. I sincerely like to help people when I can it is rewarding. William Knight

William…No you absolutely did not, that was all me and I really meant it when I said that we must have done something wrong not getting more power from the 3.2 and I genuinely did not intend any drama, please believe me on that.

The reason for my curiosity was because the two engines being quite similar on paper.

I also agree that we should not live in the past but look to the future, but with the learnings from the past as a valuable base of knowledge so we can do better things now and in the future, continous learning is what drives me.

And I still genuinely mean it when I say that I would pay much for a recipe on how to get more power from the 3.2.

Cheers

Classic 911. no worries I just did not want you to think I was disrespecting anyone. I have made more mistakes than anyone I know, Some of the most difficult problems sometimes lead to the biggest gains although they were expensive lessons. I am glad to help you or anyone I can, William Knight 615.969.4917
